What You Will Do:

Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, the Amazon & Marketplaces Manager will oversee and expand Food Cycle Science’s presence across Amazon marketplaces globally, beginning with Seller Central and scaling to Vendor Central. Additionally, this role will spearhead growth into emerging online platforms such as Best Buy and Wayfair. This is a high-impact role pivotal to the company’s marketplace strategy and global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Amazon Marketplace Management:

  • Launch and manage Amazon stores in new international markets.
  • Optimize product listings with engaging copy, SEO strategies, and high-quality imagery.
  • Oversee daily operations of Seller Central accounts, transitioning to Vendor Central as appropriate.
  • Manage inventory levels, fulfillment options, and supply chain logistics for seamless marketplace operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon policies while maintaining account health.

Performance Marketing and Growth:

  • Develop and execute in-Amazon advertising campaigns (e.g., Sponsored Ads, keyword targeting, Sponsored Brands).
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and optimize for ROI.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns for key sales periods, such as Black Friday and Christmas.

Expansion into New Marketplaces:

  • Drive the launch of accounts on platforms like Best Buy, Wayfair, and other emerging marketplaces.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform market entry strategies and pricing models.
  • Create tailored marketing strategies for each platform to maximize growth.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track sales performance, advertising ROI, and customer insights across marketplaces.
  • Generate actionable strategies from data analysis to improve profitability and scale operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet and exceed performance benchmarks.

Team Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Align marketplace strategies with broader company goals by working closely with product, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Partner with external vendors and agencies to optimize advertising performance.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to recommend pricing, bundling, and promotional opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central accounts.
  • Expertise in Amazon advertising tools and best practices, with a proven track record of scaling accounts and improving ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Amazon reports, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with launching accounts on platforms like Best Buy or Wayfair is a bonus.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience is a plus).
