Senior Events Manager

We are hiring a Senior Events Manager, reporting to the Director of Growth, you will manage the planning and execution of all of Knak’s hybrid, online and in-person events such as the Marketing Operations Productivity Summit, the GURU online event, Knak’s participation at Adobe Summit and User Group Meetings.

What you'll do:

  • Manage virtual and physical corporate events from strategy through onsite execution.
  • Work with Marketing and Knak leadership to bring the Knak brand to life in new and creative ways at each event.
  • Lead and project manage all the content, web, digital and sales resources needed before, during and after the event.
  • Manage the communication plan, event survey, registration and attendee lists.
  • Work with the Digital and Operations teams to ensure registration targets are met.
  • Work with the BDR team to ensure a timely delivery of MQLs and a smooth transition to BDR & Sales.
  • Manage internal & external guest speakers: meetings scheduling and pre-show rehearsals.
  • Planning and budgeting and contract negotiation.
  • Measure success and KPIs for each event.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of event management experience preferably in a SaaS company.
  • You have experience leading and managing both virtual and in-person events.
  • You are a hands-on but strategic event manager who loves the energy and fast pace of a startup.
  • You are proactive, independent, and able to lead virtual teams towards excellence.
  • You are passionate about trying new and creative ways to draw attention to the brand.
  • You understand that event success is about fun + energy + learning and you know how to build that type of environment.
  • You are extremely detail-oriented and can juggle multiple projects at once.
  • You are calm and collaborative under pressure.
  • The ability and desire to travel (this role will require travel to the US and locations in Canada).
