Senior Solutions Engineer (Remote within Canada)

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, we are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join our fast-moving Business Development team. This is a role, responsible for demonstrating and being a subject matter expert in Multiview solutions to our prospects, partners, and clients as they validate the needs for their financials technology.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • present the Multiview differentiators while leveraging your knowledge base in the accounting and finance industry with the focus on our mission to Stop Chasing their Numbers and Start Using Them™
  • providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients, completing software demonstrations, formal proposals, and other Multiview documentation
  • thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and be willing to wear multiple hats.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player who is an excellent presenter, communicator, self-starter, and someone who can meet the demands of a fast-paced growing Software as a Service company while maintaining a positive attitude.

The “Senior Solutions Engineer” is a subject matter expert who is an excellent communicator, energetic, with a problem-solving mindset, and comfortable meeting with top executives and providing solutions to those needs offered in the clients’ validation process. This is a client-facing role and requires fantastic presentation skills that provide energy and enthusiasm for solving our client’s needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide support to our current Business Development, Sales teams through various channels including supporting on calls with potential clients while also facilitating technical requirement gathering sessions where needed
  • Working to help vet and close deals from technical requirements perspective by providing technical support for webinars, tradeshows and user group meetings on solutions, products, services, and industry expertise
  • Provide coaching and solution expertise to other solution engineers in solving complex problems and/or requirements, they will be looked at as the lead subject matter expert in the team
  • Demonstrate competency as a technical subject matter expert by thoroughly understanding Multiview Financial features, functions, and benefits while being able to communicate this within all levels of an organization
  • Work closely with Business Development Executives during the prospect needs analysis phase to assist in uncovering and clearly identifying a prospect's critical business issues related to technology/products
  • Assist the Business Development Executives with solving complex requirements while proposing potential solutions to clients
  • Collect required client information to help design demos
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver technical presentations while conducting web or potentially in person demos to show product capabilities, adaptations and applications while ensuring presentations and line-of-business-specific demo environments are updated and created accordingly for Multiview Financial
  • Assisting the sales team with formal Requests for Proposals and Information
  • Demonstrate Multiview’s core values, building and advancing the reputation of the company and its clients

COMPETENCIES PORTFOLIO:

  • Technical Skills – Sound knowledge of financial and accounting systems and Multiview product is required to perform the role competently. The incumbent must be comfortable using the technology and be able to explain it to others. This level of expertise is gained through progressive on the job experience
  • Communication – Ability to address different audiences using appropriate language to communicate their meaning clearly and efficiently. The incumbent must be comfortable meeting with top executives and providing solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Teamwork – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively address the needs of each team while always maintaining the client’s outcomes as the driver
  • Problem-solving – Proactive in anticipating and resolving problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to meet the project requirements
  • Organization – Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and to schedule meetings appropriately to meet commitments
  • Initiative – Seeks, accepts, and completes new tasks using own initiative; works independently with minimal supervision

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree or college diploma in Accounting, Business, or relevant experience
  • Must have 4-7 years’ experience using Multiview products with knowledge and experience on the implementation process
  • Proven ability to deliver software demonstrations, whether in-person, or via web presentation with exceptional communication (verbal and written), research, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills with experience working in a client-facing role
  • Great troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with the desire to tackle challenges head-on
  • Must have solid knowledge and understanding of accounting process and principles
  • Proven ability to work independently and managing a high volume of projects in a timely fashion
  • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products for our stakeholders
  • A desire to learn, excel at and teach our growing relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organization, planning, prioritization, and time management skills
  • A great phone presence that includes an awesome sense of humor
  • Experience demonstrating Multiview’s core values, building, and advancing the reputation of the company and its clients
