ABOUT THE ROLE:

As project manager, you are an integral part of the implementation team and will be responsible for the planning and successful management of Multiview client ERP implementation projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and adhere to project plan timeline according to statement of work and implementation schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to coordinate deliverables; ensure teams are on task and project deadlines are met.
  • Meet regularly with client sponsors on project status and risk assessment.
  • Proactively review project costs. Successfully manage scope creep and resolve variances with predetermined budgets by recommending and executing action and risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and report on the design, implementation and operations of the project against established goals; identify and resolve strategic risk issues with client requirements.
  • Manage conflict that may arise within a project to ensure the problem is solved before the quality of the project is compromised. This may require the implementation project manager provide input to contract negotiations to ensure reasonable terms are met and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Make recommendations to the existing project management program for continued improvements.

  • Project management – Implementation project managers know how to successfully manage a project from inception to completion. They understand how to set and meet deadlines and other goals through previous project management experience
  • Teamwork – Implementation project managers are team players. They work with multiple teams simultaneously, and they know how to effectively address the needs of each team without introducing conflict to the project
  • Conflict management – conflict can arise from time to time during a project, and implementation project managers are skilled negotiators and conflict managers. They know how to address both sides of the argument and can provide helpful solutions for everyone
  • Time management – implementation project managers are skilled at managing their time. They can organize their schedule appropriately so they can meet all their commitments
  • Communication – implementation project managers are highly skilled communicators. They can address different audiences using appropriate language to communicate their meaning clearly and efficiently. Their written and verbal communication skills are top notch.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO HAS:

  • Project Management Professional designation, or relevant field experience
  • Degree or diploma in Finance, or relevant field experience
  • 6+ years’ experience as a project manager supporting client software implementation projects of high-complexity and value
  • Strong knowledge of project management best practices and a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues
  • Multiview Financial Software experience
