A bit about the role…
The Technical Training & Knowledge Management Specialist blends Knowledge Management and Technical Content Creation with Training and Facilitation to enhance the expertise of our Support and Operations team and beyond. As a Knowledge Management Specialist, you will focus on curating, maintaining, and optimizing technical documentation and training content, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. As a Technical Trainer, you will be involved in developing and delivering engaging instructional sessions, creating learning pathways, and ensuring knowledge is effectively transferred across teams.
You will work closely with Support Leadership, Operations Team, Product teams, and key stakeholders to ensure training programs and documentation align with product updates and business needs. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both creating structured, technical content and facilitating interactive training sessions.
WHO YOU ARE
You have 5+ years of experience in corporate training environments with a strong focus on technical content creation.
You have expertise in technical writing and content development.
You have a strong background in LMS administration and content delivery.
You have experience applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
You are skilled in creating interactive training modules, quizzes, and assessments.
You are detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and consistency across documentation.
You are analytical and can assess training effectiveness through key performance indicators.
You can work independently and take ownership of knowledge management initiatives.
You have strong communication skills and are comfortable presenting and facilitating training sessions both in-person and remotely.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Knowledge Management & Technical Content Creation
Develop, maintain, and optimize technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
Manage and update both internal and external facing Knowledge Base, ensuring all resources are accurate and accessible.
Work closely with Product to capture product updates and translate them into clear, structured content.
Identify gaps in knowledge and proactively develop content to address them.
Standardize technical documentation and streamline information accessibility for internal and external users.
Training & Facilitation
Design and implement structured learning programs for onboarding and continuous learning.
Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for internal teams.
Create and manage LMS courses, including quizzes, assessments, and interactive modules.
Assess training effectiveness through KPI tracking, learner feedback, and performance assessments.
Provide coaching and training support to employees to ensure knowledge retention and application.
Continuously improve training methodologies, incorporating adult learning principles and innovative instructional design techniques.
